Dr. Fred M. Williams III

Interim Pastor Dr. Fred Williams is a man of God, deeply steeped in knowledge of Holy Scriptures. He also serves as Associate Professor of History and Languages at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he has taught for over 12 years. His degrees include:

• B.A., Vanderbilt University
• M.Div., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School
• Th.M., Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
• Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
    
Fred has studied 28 languages at the graduate level, and is the primary professor for required linguistic courses at SEBTS. In addition to his academic accolades, he was also runner-up in the 1988 Durham Invitational Karate Tournament.

Above all, Dr. Williams wishes to share the Gospel of God's sovereignty, His love, forgiveness, mercy and grace with those in our community.
